Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Fortune Investment Services Private Limited ("FISPL", "we", "us", "our") operates www.fortuneinvestment.in (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, why we collect it, how it is stored, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Site only and does not cover the separate client portal at themfbox.fortuneinvestment.in, which has its own terms and access controls.
We are an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN: 197457), and we are also registered with the Association of Portfolio Managers in India (APMI) for Portfolio Management Services and hold an active Alternative Investments / Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) license. Nothing in this policy should be read as describing us as a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser; we are a distributor, not an adviser.
1. Information We Collect
When you interact with the Site, we may collect the following:
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Full name, phone number, and email address, submitted through the consultation request forms on the homepage, and on the Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and GIFT City pages.
- Self-declared income range, estimated net worth, and investment horizon, collected specifically on the AIF and GIFT City consultation forms. This is sensitive financial information you choose to share so we can route your enquiry to the right team; it is never a precondition for browsing the Site or reading any other page.
- Any message content you type into the "Mini FIS" chat widget.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 4.
2. How We Use and Route Your Information
We are direct with you about where your data actually goes, since different forms on the Site are wired to different destinations:
- Homepage consultation form: your submission (name, phone, email, income range, net worth, investment horizon) is sent to a Google Sheets workbook via a Google Apps Script webhook, so our team can follow up with you. You are then redirected to Calendly to select an appointment slot.
- AIF and GIFT City consultation forms: your submission is sent directly to Calendly (our scheduling provider) to open a booking page for a private consultation. This data is not separately logged to our Google Sheets workbook.
- Chat widget:messages you send to "Mini FIS" are transmitted to Google's Generative AI (Gemini) API for the sole purpose of generating a reply. We do not ask the chat widget to collect financial data, and you should avoid sharing sensitive financial details through it.
- WhatsApp:the WhatsApp button on the Site opens a conversation directly in WhatsApp, governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not this policy.
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, schedule consultations, understand which of our services may be relevant to you, and comply with applicable AMFI, SEBI, and APMI recordkeeping requirements. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. How Sensitive Financial Data Is Handled
Income range and net worth are the two data points on this Site that we treat as sensitive financial information, in line with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:
- These fields are collected only on the AIF and GIFT City pages, where they help our Relationship Managers route your enquiry to a team member suited to your investment horizon.
- They are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to Calendly at the point of submission.
- We do not use income range or net worth for automated credit decisions, and we do not share these fields with data brokers or advertising networks.
- Access to any consultation data we do log internally (via the homepage form) is limited to FISPL staff who need it to follow up with you.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including for the following purposes:
- Google Analytics: to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited and for how long.
- Google Ads / remarketing (including DoubleClick): to measure the performance of our ad campaigns and to show you relevant ads on other sites after you visit ours.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel: to measure ad performance and build audiences for Facebook and Instagram advertising.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: to measure the performance of LinkedIn advertising campaigns.
These tools may set cookies or use device identifiers on your browser. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. To opt out of personalized advertising specifically:
- Google: visit Google Ads Settings to manage or opt out of ad personalization.
- Meta: visit your Facebook Ad Preferences.
- LinkedIn: visit your LinkedIn advertising settings.
- Industry-wide opt-out: the Digital Advertising Alliance and YourAdChoices let you opt out of interest-based ads across many providers at once.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the following categories of third parties, only as needed to run the Site and respond to your enquiry:
- Google (Sheets, Apps Script, Analytics, Ads, and the Gemini API) for form storage, site analytics, advertising, and the chat widget.
- Calendly for appointment scheduling.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and LinkedIn Corporation for advertising measurement.
- Vercel, our website hosting provider, which processes standard web traffic logs to serve the Site.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent privacy practices of these third parties beyond the data we choose to share with them.
6. Data Retention
We retain consultation form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and to meet our recordkeeping obligations as an AMFI-registered distributor, and delete or anonymize them thereafter unless a longer retention period is required by SEBI, AMFI, APMI, or other applicable law.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful basis to retain.
- Withdraw consent for future marketing communications at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults seeking financial services and is not directed at, or knowingly collecting information from, children under 18.
